- Go, Tell It on the Mountain.
- Anything from the soundtrack of A Charlie Brown Christmas, but Skating is my favorite. You know this one. It is the song where Vince Guaraldi's piano evokes snowflakes falling.
- What Child is This? because it has the same tune as Greensleeves.
- Carol of the Bells or anything else from George Winston's December.
- Let it Snow. This is one of the few songs I will attempt to sing when other people are around. I can't help it.

Favorite Christmas Songs
Pete challenged me and others to list our five favorite Christmas songs. This is very difficult. I could probably list a dozen favorite Christmas Carols. They all bring back memories. And then, of course, there are some great Christmas pop tunes and novelty songs. So without further ado, here's my list (although it might change tomorrow):

It's not specifically Christmas, but I've gotten fond of "Baby, It's Cold Outside". Probably because I've watched Elf like 19 times this season already.
I can't believe I forgot A Fairytale of New York by The Pogues. It starts out with: "It was Christmas Eve babe in the drunk tank". It's a gritty song; definitely not for everyone; but few songs manage to tell such a complete, bittersweet story in just four minutes. It's The Pogues at their best.
